How big is the Sundown Cinema Screen?
Our screen is 8m wide and over 6.5m tall....it's bigger than some indoor cinema screens!
Do you offer a statewide service?
Yes, we proudly operate across Tasmania and believe everyone should have access to exciting and unique experiences just like ours!
What movies can we show at our event?
Sundown Cinema can show any film which is available on Blu Ray or DVD. Due to licensing restrictions we are not able to access current new releases.
Do I need a license to show a film?
Yes, in most cases you do need a non-theatrical film license when screening a film in public. Sundown Cinema has strong relationships with film distribution companies and can take care of licensing requirements for you. Sundown Cinema is a fully licensed organisation and respects the film and music industries. We will only ever conduct events which carry the correct licenses. Sundown Cinema has PPCA and APRA music licenses.
How much does it cost?
Sundown Cinema provides a very cost effective unique experience. It opens up many revenue streams for event organisers and offers fantastic ROI opportunities. As each event is different, please Contact Us to discuss your circumstances.
Do we need to supply power?
To ensure your event runs smoothly, Sundown Cinema requires access to two or three 240v power points. If power is not available then we can supply generators at an additional cost.
What happens if it rains?
The weather is the biggest variable when planning an outdoor event. Although you cannot change the weather, you can plan for it. Sundown Cinema has an indoor setup option available and we also offer an inclement weather guarantee. Please discuss this with us when planning your unique evening!
